How Much Sand Goes in My Oasis Mini?

You might have purchased additional sand or glitter to go with your Oasis Mini. While there's no harm in mixing them, we recommend that you use one packet of material at a time. The optimal amount of sand to use with Oasis Mini is 5 teaspoons, and each of the packets are pre-measured.

Feel free to explore and mix colors! If you added more than one packet and fee it's a bit too much material, we have a tutorial here showing a technique for removing some of the sand.

Our standard sand is a bright white sand which looks great with the RGB lights, but you might want to bring some additional color and sparkle. Our sand and other colors of glitter can be purchased here if you're curious.
